| Carson Murphy is currently a member of Barbara Duffy & Company, Rumba Tap, and Katherine Kramer Projects. She has performed in concert with Ted Levy, Los Angeles' Tongue Contemporary Dance Company, Miller and Ben's "Tap Giants," was a part of Harold Cromer's Original "Opus One" and joined the first National Tour of Broadway's "42nd Street." She has performed at the Joyce Theater with Michelle Dorrance, "Mable Lee's Dancing Ladies," and "The Tap Collective" as well as in "Tappy Holidays" at Symphony Space alongside Derick Grant, Ayodele Casel, Sarah Savelli and Michela Marinolerman. Carson has worked with Tap City (2005-2008) and was seen as a featured dancer in Chris Scott’s “W-LUV”, performed at Miami’s Colony Theatre in Katherine Kramer’s “Stop Look Listen”, at Central Park’s SummerStage with Rumba Tap and traveled to Baton Rouge with Tap City on Tour. Carson’s main influences are Mable Lee, Ted Levy, Dianne Walker, Steve and Carol Zee, Jeannie Hill and Linda Murphy.
Carson is heavily sought after as a certified Pilates and Gyrotonic instructor. She holds Bachelors of Arts in both Dance and Philosophy graduating with honors from Loyola Marymount University.
